FAQ

Your questions, answered

How long does installation take?

Plan on 20 to 30 minutes per vehicle. Our certified technicians come to your parking lot or depot, fit the device, check that data is coming through and move on to the next one. One team can handle 20 to 25 vehicles in a day, so your fleet is never off the road: each vehicle leaves as soon as its install is done. For larger fleets, we schedule several visits, often early in the morning or in the evening to fit your operating hours. Manager training follows right after, and one hour is enough to get comfortable with the map, alerts and reports. From signing to full fleet management, most of our clients are up and running in less than a week.

Does the platform work without network coverage?

Yes, and we take this seriously because dead zones are real on Moroccan roads, in the mountains as well as on the long highways in the south. The device has its own onboard memory. When the 3G/4G signal drops, it keeps recording position, speed and engine events locally. As soon as the vehicle is back in coverage, everything syncs to the platform in order, with no gaps in the history. You lose no trip data, even after several hours out of range. Our multi-carrier SIM cards also cut down these outages a lot, since the device automatically switches to the strongest available network, in Morocco and abroad.

Is my data hosted in Morocco?

Yes. GPS positions, fuel data and your trip history are stored on servers located in Morocco, which is still rare in a market where most providers host abroad. Keeping data in the country complies with Law 09-08, Morocco's data protection law: no transfer outside Morocco means no transfer authorization to request. On the access side, every user on your account has a defined role. A fleet manager only sees their own vehicles, and an accountant can be limited to reports. History is kept for two years, which fits operational needs and audits. For public tenders and demanding clients, this setup is often a pass/fail requirement, and Tracky meets it out of the box.

How long is the contract term?

Our contracts run from 12 to 36 months, your choice. The rule is simple: the longer the term, the lower the monthly cost per vehicle. Many clients start with 12 months to test the solution, then move to 24 or 36 months at renewal once they have seen the savings on their fuel bill. The contract covers hardware, installation, the platform and support, so no extra fees show up along the way. If your fleet changes, we adjust. Adding vehicles mid-contract does not mean renegotiating the whole deal. Ask for a quote and we will get back to you within 24 business hours with pricing based on the size of your fleet.

Can we try it before committing?

Yes, and we recommend it. We install a demo device on one of your vehicles, in real conditions, for 15 days. You follow that vehicle on the platform with your own trips, drivers and routes. It is not a demo on made-up data, it is your operation. After two weeks, you have seen how accurate the tracking is, how fuel data comes through and how alerts behave on your actual work. If the solution does not convince you, we take the device back and that is the end of it, with no invoice and no commitment. Most fleets that run the trial go on to equip every vehicle, because the numbers from the test period are usually enough to decide.

Is support available in Arabic?

Yes. Our support team speaks Arabic, French and English, and answers in whatever language you use. In practice, your drivers can call in Arabic while your fleet manager writes in French, and everyone gets help. There are three channels: phone, WhatsApp and email, six days a week. Support is also built right into the app, which makes it easy to report a problem without leaving your tracking screen. And since the team is in Morocco, there is no overseas call center and no time zone gap. You talk to people who know your roads, your constraints and your hours. For on-site work, the technician in your region takes over.
